ALCHEMY SPRINGS DAY SPA + COMMUNITY HUB
san francisco

In partnership with a woman-owned spa services company Alchemy Springs, our team developed the design and permitted plans for a temporary spa project in San Francisco's Lower Nob Hill neighborhood. This project was designed a business incubator for a larger future spa facility in the same location. The design was intended to serve as an economic driver to fund the larger future project at this or a different future location.

Part day-spa, part community-hub this project is intended to serve the Nob Hill, Tenderloin, Polk Gulch and Van Ness corridor neighborhoods with facilities, classes and amenities that are much needed as San Francisco's downtown continues to recover in the post-COVID economic landscape. As the city begins to find its new path forward, Alchemy Springs intends to serve as community networking place to reimagine, recharge and revitalize one of San Francisco's oldest neighborhoods.

Unfortunately, this project has not be realized as this original design was developed. However, a modified and scale back version has been developed in the same location.
